I like him as a player but he needs to chill, so hes talking about having the Cowboys back up the truck to pay him, yet you said yourself he gets hurt a lot.. Dude has had (1) good season, (1) healthy season and it just so happens to be contract year... Cowboys better be careful with this one. I am more ok with them paying Dez and letting Murray walk, rather then over paying Murray and letting Dez walk.

ypg is a really weird stat to pick when ypc is right there. murray has produced every time he's on the field. his last 2 seasons have been elite.

i haven't heard his contract demands.. just that the cowboys lowballed him with their initial offer and he seems to be reacting to that.

and i think everybody, including murray and jerry jones, knows that the cowboys would rather keep dez than murray if they could only choose one.

YPG is what you need to use with players who are hurt a lot...

Something tells me Demarco will want to be paid as if he plays 16 games every year... so if thats the case you need to bring up real numbers that actually matter. fact is he had 1 good season under his belt and hes putting that ski mask on already.

he's had 2 straight elite seasons and he's trying to cash in. there's nothing wrong with that.

he's definitely worth more than the 4 mil annually that he's been offered. that's like half a step above shonn greene territory.

i think it's a lot of cowboys fans just preparing themselves for the inevitable breakup

Cowboys were one of the least passing teams in the league last season, might have been second to last.....

I think they would be wise to keep that running game together, it got them further than Romo/Dez has ever got them.

you're making up your own quotes and trying to paint murray as the bad guy in this scenario. that shyt is weird.

as much as you disagree with me calling his 2013 "elite", I disagree with calling it just average

and for the record, I'd take all the backs you named over murray besides maybe alf but probably him too.

@Spaceman Piff I am not making up any quotes, just based off the couple quotes that came out.... its going to be trouble for the cowboys is all I am saying. He's going to cash in from what he did in 2014, nothing else. Oddly enough I would take Murray over all the backs I said other then Lynch, Charles. But it's no secret Dallas has an amazing Oline now, if he was smart he would just get a deal done and not worry about any max contracts. He could end up going somewhere else with an avg oline, getting a nice payday and being forgotten again.

He a good Player but Dez will be GREAT HOF WR. Aint no way Dez aint first priority, Besides cap room is short anyways. I rather get AD, Gurley, Gordon, or Spiller next year than to give him a 9+ a year contract. He'll be missed but hes injury prone and has fumbling issues and i think last year was the best year hes ever going to have
