that the boy jack ma! they will bounce back from those knock off goods scandal....buying the dip could be worth wild. during the october stock market dip with the ebola scare etc i bought average $92 and got out at about $117. 21% was a solid gain and more than s&p500 return.

the most carries marshawn lynch has ever had is 315

take a look at this

416 - larry johnson = done

larry johnson 416 carries - never rushed for more than 900 yards again was done in the nfl a few years later

jamal anderson

410 - retired 3 years later only ran for 1,000 yards once more averaging 3.6 yards per carry

james wilder

406 - had one more season where he rushed for over 1,000 yards (3.7 ypc) and was done a few years later

eddie george - done, terrell davis - done, ricky williams - done, demarco murray :lupe:

eric dikkerson is the only back who beat the trend

Breh you taking about og James wilder?

I want them to keep Demarco but if he thinks he cant be replaced he is wrong. We could grab Todd Gurley or another good college back in the late 1st or early 2nd and if he's 100 percent then I would be more than satisfied with that. Plus I don't know if Murray will have another season like he did this year. It's possible because he is still young enough but they shouldn't break the bank for him either.

Couldn't you do the same with Bryant, Witten, Romo also?

We better 3r not soend a draft pick on a offensive player on the first day of drafting.

What seems to constantly go unnoticed is that Demarco's pass protection can't be fuked with. nikkas don't think bout his ability to pick up/read blitzes and knock nikkas to the ground. Randle ain't doing that no time soon which in essence could kill Romo and our playoff hopes instantly.

Plus the chemistry we have with him Romo and DEz is also underrated.

You keep DMo for the right price. No more than 6.5-7 mill tops.

I like Murray and he's a good back...but it's all about value...and with the Cowboys cap situation it's just not going to work if Murray wants like 7-8 mill per year...that doesn't work for this team.

Boys won't be able to afford Dez and Demarco...and you can get much closer to what Demarco provides in free agency or the draft than you can get to what Dez provides.

It's not that people are saying Murray is trash or he's not a good back...it just doesn't work with the Cowboys cap situation and year after year after year it's proven that you can find RBs to put up good production basically anywhere...shyt the Ravens got a highly productive season out of Justin Forsett who spent the previous few years struggling to find playing time on the Jags, Texans, and Seahawks....so while you aren't likely going to replace 1,845 yards...Murray was equally as unlikely to replicate those numbers himself....all the Cowboys need is a collective of guys to put up similar production to what their backfield did this year.

the game changes...teams will likely adjust and adapt to what Dallas did this season...so even if Murray were to stay him putting up numbers like that again is not likely...the Cowboys will have to evolve like all successful teams...Romo might be a bit healthier...maybe the passing game plays a slightly bigger role...maybe the defense improves and the team is free to take a few more risks on the offensive end...there's more factors here than just is Murray good enough to get paid or not.

and in this day...the fact is running backs getting a big pay day is bad business for whatever club is cutting the checks.

Murray is a good back, but dudes keep forgetting he's injury prone. Never trust injury riddled players having breakout seasons in the last season of their contract. Murray is basically our offenses version of Sean Lee. Good not great players but injury prone. We need to use that money to improve our pass rush. You dont pay players based on what they've done, you pay them on what they will do. No way does Murray repeat his last years production...

The problem with Murray is that he has to realize the Cowboys don't have the cap room to pay him what he wants. The 'Boys can't pay him more than 5 milly a year, if he's as good as he says he is, go to Indianapolis and put up close to the same numbers.

Where are the wideouts that can do Dez like things? Its maybe 4/5 so no to that. Maybe Witten now but in his prime was the best blocking and catching Te in the game. Romo a top 10 QB and who the hell really gets rid of,that type of QB before they have to?

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
might as well just pay murray if these are the other options.

Pay Murray @ what expense. You can't replace what Dez brings to the offense. Even when he doesn't get his numbers, other players benefit. There were plenty of games this season where it didn't look like Murray did much but he still got over 100 yards. That's how dominant the offensive line was. Murray had a great year but to treat him like his Barry Sanders or Adrian Peterson important is :mjpls:

I would rather draft someone else. People thought Lee's production couldn't be replaced but Hitchens came on. I'm not saying you could put any back behind Romo and get 1900 yards but 1300 - 1500 is realistic. Murray is good not great. The running game got good because they have 3 first round draft picks who oh by the way all went to the pro bowl.

nah, i didn't mean all that lol

just meant that murray's biggest knock is his health.. and ingram/spiller are probably even more brittle.

i got no problems with dallas moving on from murray. i think it was the plan all along honestly. 400 carries on a contract year is pretty much getting the most out of murray while they can before they toss him aside.
