In the end the nba is all about 30 teams working for a COMMON goal to maximize profits and ratings.

You always have something for nothing trades in the NBA I mentioned this to Malta last year.

Like y'all ain't seen the history of the Lakers and Celtics for 50 years getting lopsided trades?

Like another poster said above I can see the cavs getting cousins then the kings getting the first overall pick for the next 2 or 3 years.

Fans still don't understand this shyt is business and entertainment.

I understand the bias, but the Kings won't be giving up Boogie for peanuts. And if they find a trade partner, that partner won't give a fukk about his contract situation, because they'll have a plan. But hey more power to you, I can't tell you how to think.
There is no bias on my part:stopitslime: We can win it all again without boogie so foh with that dumb shyt:camby: And Im not talking about the kings worrying about his contract dumbass I'm talking about other teams giving up valuable assets for someone that may not resign. Think before you reply to me next time idiot.

Why wouldnt the Kings just trade him to another team for a better return?

about to post the same thing

they could get so much more for him. and really need to hit the jackpot with him. they cant afford mediocre love and shump and some late pick

they need some top 5 pick and a very good young prospect.

I'm guessing because to a certain extent teams are going to want some assurances that cousins will be signing with them long term...

only other team that has some tradable assets would be the Lakers with Russell...but is Cousins will to just agree to go from one bad team right to another ..especially after his tweets during the finals:patrice:

Dude was itching to be playing post season basketball..

Kings might get raped in a trade for Love but I don't see them having much of a choice

Scoop Jackson was on Max And Marcellus yesterday saying how he doesn't see LeBron just sitting there while GS stacks the deck without making a move of his own. And in his opinion he can see DC. being one of those trades before the deadline next year..

It's a foregone conclusion that GS is the clear cut favorites to win it all... Their closest competition was OKC but without Durant the west is about to get raped with no KY.

So what do y'all think about this acquisition if it were to happen.. does it make Cleveland the favorties?

Edit : this story seems to have some legs to it

I think I like this trade... If it even happens. but give love a chance to show who he'll be into the season...he may go in. But boogie would be great:manny:

They might make better offers but why would they trade for someone who might leave? Boogie would definitely resign with the cavs you can't say that about those other teams
I've just never been big on the idea of trading someone just so you can say you didn't lose him for nothing. Kevin Love wouldn't be happy playing on that team so they're better off offering DeMarcus a max and if he leaves, so be it.

This lineup works until the Finals, which is what really matters.

Even in small doses it works in the finals. Make the warriors match up to you. That size is gonna kill the warriors on the other end.

Remember the cavs played small but the main reason they won the series is because they are a much more physical team than the warriors. They slowed the game down, did not turn the ball over, ran when they could and killed the warriors on the boards.

Plus cousins does everything that love does and many of those things better (posting up, shooting and scoring). Cousins is also an exceptional passer.

I always said the reason for love was so Lebron would not get beaten up playing the four during the regular season and against certain match ups in the eastern conference playoffs.

The goal is to keep Lebron healthy and fresh during the season and eastern playoffs. So he can go wild in the finals and have energy left.

The cavs need a dominate scorer to help out (help kyrie) when Lebron is resting during the season or on cruise control during the season.

Cousins may be a personality that the Kings don't feel they can build around...he'll never play at his best if he isn't happy there. They may wanna cut their losses...and start fresh.

Yep and he is gonna leave when his contract up. They are gonna trade him no matter what.

Anyway I been saying since Lebron went back in 2014 that somehow he and Cousins would play together. Whether it is when Lebron was old or in his early 30s.

I always saw them teaming up on some 83 76er style like Dr. J and Moses.
