Kings arent gonna trade DMC unless they get something equal in return, they cant take a step back moving into a new arena...

You don't think Cousins isn't a franchise-changing player? He's the most dominant low post player in the league, has shooting touch from mid and can pass his ass off at the 5. He's the second best big in the league behind AD, and you can plug him into any offense because he's so versatile on offense. If Kobe's playing at an all-star level this move will get the Lakers in the playoffs
If this was prime Kobe then yeah the trade would make more sense for the Lakers. But no one knows how much Kobe's got left in the tank if anything at all. The Lakers giving up all their assets for a talented but non game changing player is recipe for being the LA Kings(not the hockey team). You don't think Cousins isn't a franchise-changing player? You think Cuz will be the reason why free agents come??
I'd rather keep Randle and the 2nd pick
Magic make out like bandits. They get 6 pick w/o giving up their 5th pick while getting Randle who could end up having a better career than Vucci.
Sh!tty trade for the Lakers.
" They wouldn't have much respect for the potential Randle/Okafor core because they're unproven rookiesBecause it's gonna be a bytch developing two 20 year old big men. It would be a lot easier to have a proven all star center who just turned 25 and then spend all the time developing Randle and have Cousins give him some game as wellif we have to give up both, #2 pick and Randle, Kings can keep this mental midget
as a matter of fact, I don't see why we would need Cousins, at all. unless we get some crazy, "basketball reasons" type of deal.
Thats not enough for Cousins.
How many wins has Cousins got his team? Have they made the playoffs even once? Usually franchise changing players can do that even if they don't win a championship. Cousins is an all-star level player but not franchise playing. He's not worth it to give up that much for him.
If you're a franchise changing player you're not gonna consistently be on awful teams no matter how bad the player are around you
The way free agents think isn't how you think. They play and compete against these guys. If they see Kobe and Cousins together they're thinking "oh shyt I need to get in on this" They wouldn't have much respect for the potential Randle/Okafor core because they're unproven rookies

Randle doesn't have much trade value.
