This isn't totally surprising, is it? This is the Sacramento Kings we're talking about here, easily the most dysfunctional franchise in the NBA. The ineptitude seemingly never ends with these stooges.
This is the same team that drafted Nick freakin Stauskas, a guy who plays the same position that they drafted a year earlier because their know-nothing-about-basketball owner decided on it and the yes-men he employs all agreed. The guy they passed on, Elfrid Payton, was second in Rookie of the Year voting at a position where they have a need. Instead they decided to give Darren Collison his THIRD chance at starting and lo and behold, they need an upgrade.
They never had a reliable coach who got along with Boogie, but once he got one and the team was winning games Vivek fired him and the team went back in the tank. I understand why Kings fans are still so hurt over 2002. It's because they've been watching their purple and silver toilet flush in perpetuity ever since.
