Democrats are in a tough spot because the general public think the democrats have gone too far left (due to the progressives being the face of the party in the public square, not the policy making square) and progressives thinking the party isn’t left enough.

This push and pull dynamic is what makes the party unpopular, the catch 22 is if Democrats continue to go too the left without pragmatism they’ll continue to alienate people who don’t buy into the BS.

the Dems don't have a face of the party until the 2027 nomination is made. biden/harris are losers and finished. Schumer is finished. Hakeem is too new to be the face of anything, he's not Pelosi status. and AOC is the loudest, so she's easily as much of a "face" as anyone else, but she's nothing but a local figure with no national traction

Dems have created their own "trickle down" lie; that by the time they tax the billionaires, and the money trickles through the DC cesspool and state budgets, it's actually gonna reach every american

taxing Elon more isn't gonna change my life. go take his entire 700 billion tomorrow, and the country just runs a trillion dollar deficit this year, instead of 2 and then what?
