-the democrats are being pussies on reopening the economy, and the resentment will be massive. ask gavin newsom

-kamala is a weak candidate

-82 year old biden is a weak candidate

-republicans are cheating and suppressing votes all over the country

-momentum tends to swing back and forth. this country is easily gonna be ready to elect the right repub in 4 years, and trump will be back in the picture but not the actual nominee

even if its a 50/50 chance. can you imagine if the republicans take control with no filibuster :mjlol:
All that is moot because Trump is splitting the republican party, did you not notice?

Irrational fear.

Kill the filibuster and pass H.R.1. The GOP's power is in the rampant voter suppression and gerrymandering that they lean on. The 2020 election should have taught/convinced everyone that if Democrats have total access to the ballot box like what was envisioned through things like the Voting Rights Act, they are more likely to hold one of the chambers of congress and the WH far more than their counterparts.

Georgia in 2020 is all the reason anyone should need to get rid of the filibuster.
:francis:if it not for a global pandemic Trump would still be president... by a land slide. No suppression needed.

already not Federally funded, only the anything de-regulated can be re-regulated. not worried.
:snoop:The damage to the environment can’t be undone when Dems regain power...

It’s beginning to sound like climate change was only an existential threat when Trump was in office
:mjcry:
I guess it’s an afterthought next to the agenda.
American politics are in a truly dark place.

Based on what? I know you’ve defended him for months over this but let’s be reality: the pandemic isn’t why he lost. His response to the pandemic and him exposing the depths of his idiocy definitely killed his chances though, and those are two different things.

If he handled covid as seriously in public as he did in private and just encouraged mask wearing then he may have won. But that’s just speculation and it would have required him to be a completely different person.

unemployment was in the 3s before covid. trump would have been running on the economy and jobs, which is mostly what swing voters care about

conversely, without covid, biden would have been massively deprived of his number 1 campaign message, which was "ill handle it better than this fukkin idiot". and i dont even know what he would have ran on. being more empathetic than trump :mjlol:
