To a MAJORITY of the population where a lot of people don't even have a savings or can't come up with $500 in an emergency, $2000 is a lot. Miss me with the big city living bs
It's not about clout chasing. If I was born and raised in NY and my whole family and life is centered here, it would be extremely difficult to get up and relocate and leave everybody and everything behind. I know plenty of people who tried it and ended up moving back.
You brought population. All I was saying was most of the people live in big cities. I don't know about every state but this is state I live in.
I live in New York State. It covers 55,000 square miles. 75% of the people live within 500 square miles. It's not bragging. I'm just saying how it is.
Another thing. Living in a big city usually pays more as well. Yes, our rents are higher but also our pay is higher. It might not balance itself out exactly like other cities but rent wouldn't be as high if people weren't able to afford it
I honestly don't know much about those other cities. I did click on the first link you posted and didn't see any apartments for under 1000

This is exactly why Trump is in such a rush to get the country back open.
He knows that a one-time $1,200 payment isn't really going to solve anyone problems, but it should be enough if everyone gets back to work soon. However, if this goes on longer.....he's going to have to do SOMETHING. Problem is that none of the options feel all that palatable to him.

Yea but it would be a studio apartment for the most part. If u actually look at those listings the only ones that really gives a dope bargain is like Arizona and Dallas Texas.
