You didn't tell us anything meaningful
why should people go there?

I did get some stupid gas from a random cac for $20...he was spooked as shyt when I approached him but he seen my desperation and looked outBeen to Denver once, might be my favorite state to buy weed in but nothing stood out.
I've been coming here on/off since October. My lease is up in April and I'm 75% sure I'm moving, its either here or back home to Sacramento...How long you been there / how much time you spend there before deciding to move?
Over in the eastern neighborhoods; 55% of black people in Denver live in Northeast Denver, and like another 25% live in Southeast. Basically if you stay on the East Side you'll see larger concentrations of us and where we at, we really out here. I'm in NE Denver and if I move here this the part of the city I'm moving to...Where are the black people? When I went I mostly stayed downtown for a conference but it was biracial central. I had a great time there though really dope downtown
You trippingDenver is garbage I don’t agree at all OP. Suburban sprawl, terrible food, etc
I've yet to experience a winter here and maybe that fukks me up, but I'm at least willing to try it out...It can't be with that nasty winter..
Definitely my personal opinion, but one steeped in a lot of research and time in other placesIs there a statistics that show us how Denver is in the GOAT category? Or is it more like your personal opinion?
Vegas is in a desert, I could never live in a desert...Next place im probably moving is to the south or back to the Midwest
Only place id move that's not majority Black is North Las Vegas, because they still have a good pop of Black ppl and it's rising
Yeah I used to live in Philly, and Philly in its worst day > Denver. Denver is garbage broI've been coming here on/off since October. My lease is up in April and I'm 75% sure I'm moving, its either here or back home to Sacramento...
I don't have any family here, so my only connections here are the associations I've met. I can make more money here than I can in Sac or in Raleigh, at a lower cost of living in Sac, and only slightly more than in Rgh...
I have better career connections here than I have in Sac...
The only things that may limit or rule out a move, are my daughters are all in NC. My youngest daughter's mom is currently battling Stage 3 cervical cancer, and I'll be back in Rgh in 10 days to help support her again, she starts her treatments next week. There are scenarios that both could support me moving or staying, but for her part, working out how I see my daughter will be easy (we're speaking that she beats it entirely)...
Me and my two oldest kids' mother are currently in custody negotiations, we have another session on the 17th, and if we don't reach an agreement then, we go to court in late September. But conversations are progressing and its possible we have an agreement that allows for me to see my girls if I move out if state...
Ultimately I'm lured out of state by the prospects of making more money, and how I can provide for me and mine, and the allure if living back at home after years in NC. The more money I make will allow me the flexibility to get back fairly often, in seasons I don't have my girls with me...
Still a chance I stay put but I'm closer and closer to leaving NC than I've been in awhile...

You trippingyou from Delaware saying that when you been in and around Philly, I'd assume, which has plenty of drawbacks...
Ay bruh, shyt changes fast
Personally, the earning potential is thru the roof, that's a huge driver for me. Combine that, with the fact the only major cost of living thing is groceries, you can make so much money here...You didn't tell us anything meaningfulwhy should people go there?
I've never actually been to Philly so I'll take your word for it. I've been thru Philly, on my way from Harrisburg to Jersey (Asbury/Freehold), but I never actually "went" to Philly...Yeah I used to live in Philly, and Philly in its worst day > Denver. Denver is garbage bro
Definitely way more whites and Mexicans here. Come thru Northeast or Eastside areas in general, lot of us out here, g!Been to Colorado but didn’t explore Denver too much
Not my type of city too white and Mexican
How did you get to know a city that you're not from?Ay bruh, shyt changes fastonce my body acclimated to the climate and I been out doing shyt, its been nothing short of awesome. Part of it is, I've come in the preferable time of year too (even when I came last year, it was Autumn, so I haven't seen a real winter here yet). But this shyt sold me quick!
It really is Crip and Blood heavy here, that's a fact. And they got a lot of they own B/C gangs, not just banging LA hoods (they have that too though). They got a hood out here banging Garden Blocc too, which is a Sac gang...

I haven't lived anywhere where, I can make as much money, which may never career or Rodney specific, but it is what it is and it's super enticing. Denver City minimum wage is $18.81 and we generally staff at $2 higher than that, at the floor. For the regular, every day worker, you can run it up here, and if you in any type of managerial position, you can REALLY run it up...
The political climate of the city is free and live and let live, liberal, but not excruciatingly so...
Last fall was decent and this transition into summer has been mostly great. It gets hot but I just left Raleigh where it was 100° with southern humidity, "hot" just feels different here. Many people applaud the climate here, its an adjustment for sure...
Also I completely vouch for the people, there are really nice people here and the black community is a LOT stronger and more visible than appears at first glance...
