Not taking shots at you OP but you're not really doing a good job of selling Denver as the GOAT city. Sounds like you're just trying to make the best of your current situation

I do shyt by myself all the time, so this last go around in Denver, I started doing the simple shyt that Rodney likes doing. Playing basketball, walking, exploring parks, movies, trying new restaurants, went to a Rockies game, and teaching myself how to get around town. I've explored the city on foot, on train, and in car, I have fun doing shyt like that...How did you get to know a city that you're not from?
Like where did you go, were you just by yourself?
I've never actually been to Philly so I'll take your word for it. I've been thru Philly, on my way from Harrisburg to Jersey (Asbury/Freehold), but I never actually "went" to Philly...
I LOVE Pittsburgh, and most people say those cities so different from each other. Outside looking in, Philly has no appeal to me, I've never had an inclination to go check it out. If it's a smaller version of New York, I'd just go to New York. If I want a blacker city, I'd just go to DC. If I wanted East Coast vibes, I can get that fix in a bunch of places and I have been to Boston multiple times and liked it...
If I wanna be in Penna I'd just go to PittsburghI don't know bruh, Philly just seems like a place that anything I'd like about it, other places do it better...
Denver is awesome, though. But I'm also not really an East Coast guy...
Is the city getting gentrified? You pick Pittsburgh over Philly is outrageous especially if you Black
Do me a favor and come to Philly during the summer. It's a reason why its finally getting out of the slump and booming again.
Certain spots but its the blackest big city on the east coast. I don't understand the hate for Philly online. Is the city getting gentrified?
I mean maybe, I'm not in a bad situation, I live comfortably. I have an opportunity to go from "living comfortably", to whatever that next level up is, from a financial standpoint, and aside from financially, thoroughly enjoy where I live...Not taking shots at you OP but you're not really doing a good job of selling Denver as the GOAT city. Black folks should move to Denver where in many industries you won't be making less than $25/hour, which, if that sounds low, consider that I live in Raleigh, which has more black people than Denver, and is only about ~16.5% lower COL than Denver, and you're a rare commodity making over $20/hour...
You gotta visit Philly breh — definitely has its own vibeI've never actually been to Philly so I'll take your word for it. I've been thru Philly, on my way from Harrisburg to Jersey (Asbury/Freehold), but I never actually "went" to Philly...

I have some fam in in the Denver suburbs butDefinitely way more whites and Mexicans here. Come thru Northeast or Eastside areas in general, lot of us out here, g!
I may check it out one day. We all got places that appeal or don't appeal to us, I'm sure there are cities you hear of but you're never thought to yourself, "I wanna go there". I been all up and down the East Coast and I've just never had a desire to go check out Philly...You pick Pittsburgh over Philly is outrageous especially if you Black
