Mental health is jusy a keyword people use to show theyre woke

In reality and practice, ive never seen anything good come from it. Friend of mine got outta jail for her free health care, went to the dr and got scripts of:

Gabapentin (nerve painkiller. fukks you up)
Somas (muscle relaxer. fukks you up)
Zoloft
Adavan (benzo. fukks you up)
Methadone (opiate replacement. fukks you up)

2 others i cant remember off top.

One by one. Its fine sure. But all together at once aka how she was told to take it = ZOMBIE STATUS

shyts sad out here how people fall for this shyt. No lil pill is gon make ya life better.

After reading the article it’s safe to say the title doesn’t actually depict what the study suggests. There are many different causes of depressions of many types of chemical imbalances that affect the brain. This is saying lower levels of “serotonin” may not be the underlying cause of depression.

Studies like this aren’t new but falsely implies that an understanding of the mechanism is necessary for effective treatment.

Anti depressants have been proven to help some and not all. Honestly with matters of the brain it will be damn near impossible to guarantee a cure all for such a complicated issue as depression. But at the end of the day antidepressants aren’t for every person suffering from it. Etc etc etc

Engineers still apply elements of the scientific method to their profession, which in many respects is an applied science…
:unimpressed:

Investigative thinking, observing patterns to problem solve isnt really exclusive to science. "Scientific method" may have been coopted by scientist, but that doesnt make it "science".

Read this earlier… they don’t know where depression comes from

“Science” changes everyday
Science is based on evidence and research. As you conduct new research your opinion may change because the evidence does - imagine that. If one person watched people jump off a building after drinking henny for 2 straight years and said based on my observations Henny might be the cause and another nikka just says it’s based on too much cotton in the air just based on vibes, who has a more credible argument? The problem isn’t science. It’s that you guys still don’t comprehend that science is just consensus based on readily available information and studies and research conducted. With advances in technique you will get a clearer picture. But y’all take evidence of something being challenged scientifically as evidence to discount everything when that literally is what makes science legitimate - it doesn’t remain stubborn in the face of overwhelming evidence.

That said, bad actors often hide under the umbrella of science to push bullshyt.

Never ever take effexor. I don't even know how I'm going to get off this shyt. You miss more than 2 doses and your entire body starts to feel like it's being beaten with a bat and your brains constantly getting zapped with electricity. Worse feeling ever. I'm getting an appointment tomorrow for ketamine therapy 2 week treatment lasts for almost a year and it makes you feel like your walking on clouds.
Interesting, Lexapro does the same thing. I think all the SSRIs do it. Took me five days of missing doses (pharmacy fukk up) and everyday it got worse.

Flu like symptoms, massive headaches, brain zaps etc.

Im not worried too much, you get off by taking smaller and smaller doses over a period of time that feels comfortable to you.
I'm at 20mg, so 15 for a few weeks, then 10, if I get symptoms go back to 15 for another week etc.
I wont hop off till next year, but my Psychiatrist was ready to start taking me off next month :russ:
I know I'm doing waaaay better but lets make sure this aint a fluke :damn:

I encourage brehs to exercise man. Lifting weights are cool, but getting a good couple miles in has helped my mental out a lot. I’ve logged over 1000+ miles the past couple years and I can’t think of one time I didn’t feel better once I was finished. Everybody has an outlet but I just wanted to share something that has helped with my mental clarity.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
An abundance of intelligence or deep thought, and no one to share it with:respect:

This is why people think therapy is some specialized field. That should only be handled by "proffesionals". Maybe for the confidentiality aspect, but thats about it. Its really just something that provides an outlet. But you could just be honest with yourself and others. Repression causes depression. Personally,I just dump my thoughts that would make me sound crazy or get me fired on thecoli:blessed:

But therapy isnt the best because they offer standardized solutions based on their cirriculum. Only thing these drugs probably do is make you less of a deep thinker. Which is the same reason illegal drugs and alchohol can help with depression too. Depending on the mixture and dosage of course. Sometimes the hennesy will have me sensitive and in my feelings:lolbron:

Explain why ignorance is bliss.

I really don't know shiit and will admit it.

My life is simple as fukk and i'm happy as hell.
