lets be real. if the knicks resurrected red holzman himself and hired him there would be clowningbreh they hired Derek fukking FIsher and you getting heated over some jokes?
on top of that they gave him a huge contract... cmon now
and in this current climate...coaching contracts are just gonna get higher and higher in salary just because.

Phil & Fisher gonna ride this out together with the 5-year deals, it seems. He's always been a good leader, has tons of experience in big moments, is a PG and knows the system Phil plans to put in place as well as anyone. He got a lot of money because of Kerr, but fukk it...i'm down.

Lotta dumb as fukk responses in this thread btw. Phil can't coach and hires someone who can be an extension of him and will ultimately have strong ties with management so there should always be a consistent message. That type of cohesion is key in any work environment and instead we got a bunch of 
knicks lost responses.
fukk even bein a Knick fan, this shyt is smart to do simply from a managerial standpoint. More teams should do that to build that type of chemistry if it's not already there. He'll start as a figurehead and eventually come into his own while having full support from higher up. Only good can come from that. Hopefully they'll build a roster that maximizes that type of synergy from up top.
