True, but once it's time for to sign their restricted FA, they might only be able to keep three or four players. If they get Parker and he pans out to be Melo w/ no athleticism, they will only be abl to keep Favors; Parker, and maybe Kanter.

That depends on what they're willing to spend. Right now that's not a big issue. They took on Rush, Biedrins and Richard Jefferson for NOTHING, so money's not a pressing problem over there at the moment.

If they're at a point where they're like "holy shyt how are they gonna keep all this talent" then Utah's gonna be pretty damn good and a contract like this one would look even smarter.

Favors is a franchise building block & this deal actually saves the Jazz alot of money. It's about 20% below a 4 yr/max deal that Favors could've got as a RFA next year. Good move for the Jazz

He's shown his potential as a starter, he;s just had two all star caliber big men ahead of him........With Kanter that frontcourt got a bright future

But the Jazz are a small market they got to do what they got to do to keep the prime talent around.......
Richie Spice is the truth. One of my faves along with I-Wayne & Perfect

You DO realize they LET Al and Millsap go right? Those were two players that turned out to be someone else's quality free agent.

That just proves you never watched him play.

It's the NBA. For every 10 players, 8 of them get paid to play one side of the court.
Beaniemac doesn't know wtf he's talking about. The Jazz got Favors for cheap.

Thats a GOOD deal for Utah and Favors. He's still very young and the sky is the limit on his potential.

He will get starter's minutes and his production will go up should he stay healthy.

The Jazz are a team that knows what they are doing. They're normally in the postseason EVERY year and they know how to draft and develop their talent.

:aicmon: Have yall even watched him play or just looked up his stats now brehs? He is only 22, played behind Big Al & Millsap, both practically borderline All-Star players and he showed some nice promise in that 2012 playoff series against the Spurs. Already there defensively, doubt he will be a go to back to the basket player, but with more minutes is going to contribute on offense and a building block for the Jazz, nothing wrong with this contract, and most contracts players lately that have been getting after there rookie scale contracts have been based upon potential for the most part. :manny:
