Fools gold.

They could already run. They were already unstoppable with a lead, milking the clock, and inside the 10.

This may be subtraction by addition. This reverts them to that run heavy mindset when really they need to be focused on opening up as a pass attack . They bout to run Lamar into Ryan tannehill
Derrick Henry’s presence alone is an upgrade. A run heavy offense is what suits Lamar best

Hopefully they utilize him properly

He can really help Lamar with the threat of play action.

I think they can still throw more.

However, when games get tight/ugly they can just say fukk it and run the ball.

That's what cost them the playoffs again. They panicked and it didn't stick with the run.

Really it's that when they don't have a lead there's not as much freedom to run, you need chunk plays

If they can get leads they can dominate TOP to win games, but if they go behind it gets ugly and it's too slow to run up the field

That's why they need a reliable #1 receiver as a plan B, going all in on the run isn't the answer entirely

I hear you, but imo the Titans/Chiefs games they just bailed on the running games completely.

Instead of trying to get chunk plays just running their normal offense would have got them back in the game.

They need to just trust the offense. The defense is never truly getting blown out. Defense pitched a shout-out against the Chiefs in the 2nd half.

All of this is fair.
However, I would wager that the playaction element is a lot more dangerous/serious when Derrick Henry is the one you've got to respect.

Baltimore's most dangerous play is the Lamar RPO though, play-action takes away his ability to scan the field. They get an upgraded RB but I don't think it changes what they do

:pachaha:

Hustling backwards.

They have no problem milking the clock and asking Lamar to do the bare minimum. This doesn’t change that. What it does, is makes people, the team, etc fall back and go to the old Greg Roman days. He’s gonna regress as a passer and , once again it’s not gonna be visible until the playoffs and/or they actually fall behind

Source: the guy who all year was going against the grain and ringing the alarm that their lack of a pass game was gonna end their season
