Fools gold.

They could already run. They were already unstoppable with a lead, milking the clock, and inside the 10.

This may be subtraction by addition. This reverts them to that run heavy mindset when really they need to be focused on opening up as a pass attack . They bout to run Lamar into Ryan tannehill

Nah,they are a juggernaut now if you think about it. Load up the box to stop Henry, but still have to account for Lamar running. And dont forget Lamar can throw now:wow:

How are people not liking this move? He was on a poor Titans team with Tannehill and Levis and still produced.

He's going to absolutely tear it up this year. I'd say a minimum of 1,300 yards. Wouldn't be surprised to see 1,600+ rushing yards from him.

Looking forward to a Henry to Lamar TD pass as well.

Hustling backwards.

They have no problem milking the clock and asking Lamar to do the bare minimum. This doesn’t change that. What it does, is makes people, the team, etc fall back and go to the old Greg Roman days. He’s gonna regress as a passer and , once again it’s not gonna be visible until the playoffs and/or they actually fall behind

Source: the guy who all year was going against the grain and ringing the alarm that their lack of a pass game was gonna end their season
They ran the ball 6 times in a playoff game.

Even the Chiefs knew to still run the ball when down against the 49ers.

It sets up your play action and errrrr

why am I trying to convince you :russ:

Titans OL is awful as well. Henry's lost a step but he's still a top tier RB.

You can’t ‘lose a step’ and still be a top tier RB.

Almost without fail, RB quality comes down to juice. Legs. I’m always goin with the younger legs.

It’s a hard thing to do, but you must, must divorce yourself from names. It’s the #1 real teams overpay for dudes and fans overrate dudes.

People fall in love with names. Last year this time it was ‘Dalvin Cook to the jets?! :damn:‘ That plus all the best RBs are young. People just don’t learn

More RB depth for the Ravens, and I think this is a fine move.

Nothing has changed in terms of Lamar needing a reliable WR.
Odell Beckham had some nice moments and Zay Flowers was able to stretch the field at times. Even Isaiah Likely played like a pro bowler in some games.

But I would expect the Ravens to select a WR inside the first 3 rounds of the 2024 Draft.

Yup. It could be argued that the reason they lost that game is because they didn't use Lamar's legs enough, imo, or run the ball enough. That game was very very winnable for the ravens and they blew it with their play calling.
