i would think players should be commended for saying what Rose said.. I mean.. i'm really really really not a kobe fan but i would expect he would say something along the same lines.. I also think Jordan would too..

on some real shyt tho, Rose shouldn't have said those comments but I respect his way of thinking. Should have just refused to answer but he's right. If a player wants to come, let him make that decision with his family or whoever, why add extra stress on a player by begging :manny:

you can still help sell a nikka on the team without suckin his dikk. :manny:

If Noah is putting in that work, then Rose should too
When Noah hits free agency, I hope Rose continues this way of thinking

That's what GM's are for. he shouldn't have to recruit nobody. I could see if he was trying to get him to come to the Bucks or some shyt. Plus that's his equal. Furthermore... why shouldn't Carmelo be the one to sell himself. What is he going to bring to the table. Why does he have to be the one to be wooed. The bulls were winning regardless. I just think this whole "recruiting" nonsense is overrated. Carmelo KNOWS where he wants to go so why even bother. Rose is probably thinking that Carmelo is actually going on trips to other teams. Why waste time/energy on someone that might not come anyway.

:russ: Kobe was trying to convince DCoward
No doubts in my mind, if Pippen ever threatened to leave, MJ would've been in his ear trying to do something to keep him

If you about winning, then where does the ego play a role in recruiting quality players to win?

If your GM is doing his damn job, you wouldn't need to have an impact :mjpls:

Rose is an MVP in his prime years. He's only 25 He shouldn't have to recruit nikkas. Melo just turned 30. If he plays in Chicago he will have a point guard that will give more quality years and more opportunities for titles. I mean this is a no brainer. It's really Melo's decision. If he's just looking for a quick title fix opportunity then he can go to Dallas or even Houston but Chicago has the better coach and two players in their primes.

He shouldn't have to beg nikkas to come play with him. Chicago Bulls sell themselves.

:dwillhuh:

No they dont. Chicago is not known for acquiring big time FA's breh, where did you get that from? The ONLY "big-time" FA they ever acquired, that I remember, was Carlos Boozer.....that's it.:heh:

It's actually HARDER than it should be for Chicago to get players now, because the shadow of Michael Jordan looms over that franchise, and no elite player wants to go there and play in his shadow imo:manny:
