DRose looks really good. If he plays like this throughout the season, then the Cavs will have a very good uptempo game while he is in. I dont know about him taking IT's starting spot...actually, they look like they would work very well together. The key with the Cavs is staying healthy. They have a lot of players with former health concerns.
Why you have to be excited about Rose's pre-season play is that one, he looks so happy out there. Two, he seems to have a lot of his confidence back. He definitely looks the part of a starter. In fact, it doesnt seem that absurd that Rose could be the starter, especially if Wade comes off the bench. IT could be in that rotation with Wade, Lebron/Crowder, Love, TT/J.R. that is more of their half court lineup....which currently Calderon is getting a lot of run with.

problem is with a lot of you dudes in here is you are comparing how good players are and not roles and how they fit. regardless of who is starting, if Rose is healthy he will play a lot of minutes because Lue wants him to push the ball. Uptempo is DRose's game....and now he has more weapons than ever before. On the flip side, yall thinking IT gonna drop 29ppg this year . He doesnt need to do that. His role wont be that of the top scorer. Its like when KD went to GS, everyone knew that would ease the load from Steph. Likewise with Russ this year.
