I mean its still early as hell. Hes a rookie. I expect him to struggle a and have ups and downs. I mean look at Snell. He was good in the beginning and fell off after 3 months. Doug can get acclimated later on in the season. You never know. The thing with Doug is his release is slow as fukk at the NBA level and his D is atrocious. He can't fight around picks or stay in front of his man at all

I NEVER watched him in college cuz I dont like NCAA bball. but I thought he had a fairly quick release in college. was that not true?

why would you draft a sharpshooter who's not particularly adept at creating his shot if his release wasn't lightning quick in the first place?

No thibs understands when you a team with a target on your back like the bulls you don't win with damn rookies. People see them cook in summer league and act like we got Jabari or Wiggins sitting on our bench. Then expect these dudes to be some intricate part of a championship run

We trying to win it all. I have literally never seen a team with championship aspirations beg for rookies to get playing time worried about they development. You worry about rookie development when we a young team just trying to make the offs, not when you supposed to be a championship team. Smh

Outside of kawhi, what rookies have pop been developing while he competing for a ring?

Mind you even when we talk kawhi we talking him being surrounded by 3 legit hall of famers and a ton of vets. Easier to cover a rookies mistake when you have that kind of roster.

IDK. Different skill level maybe? The Big East is kind of filled with mid majors now. The release was an issue when he was scouted and I see it in game. He basically has to be wide open to get a good shot

Dougie is a four year college player and lead the nation in scoring. Nikola is suppose to be the best Euro prospect in years. They need to play a role on this team. They are some of the main reasons why ppl are so high on our team to win it all

They don't have 3 HOFs but they have like 3 or 4 All Star Calibur players on the fukking team (Rose when he's playing, Jimmy, Pau, Noah) and Taj is a 6th Man of the Year Candidate.
