Similar to what other people said, I also did dumb **** as a kid as a result of being out and about . I was never really too reckless of a kid but I didn’t need to be doing some of the **** I was doing.

Homes driving drunk, being reckless, and I remember one time we just drove around throwing eggs at cars for no damn reason. It’s a miracle that I never got into much trouble. But I also cringe at some of the situations I was in.

Its a dumb band aid on horrible policy. We used to hang teen clubs and spots to hang around as a kid even in bamma Jacksonville and now they are trying to Villainize these kids.

I agree with that. They said ages 16-17 have to be in by 11 though. I’m not saying they should do away with it but I hope they use some discernment. They shouldn’t harass 16-17 year olds just walking home or hanging out in front of their own house during the summer. Y’all forget what it was like to be a kid sometimes.

My feeling is is that kids should be preoccupied during the day.

My one niece is 14. She goes to camp during the day and occasionally volunteers at a vet clinic. By late evening she tired. She might talk to her Lil friends in the phone a bit but she's pretty much sleep by MN.

This why the mayor of bmore spent that money on camps and library hours etc.

Kids shouldn't be walking home at midnight.

That (city?) culture is gonna have to change if they don't want the police raising their kids.

If you have children, there is not a excuse at all for kids to be out that late at those ages unsupervised. Children shouldn’t be working or doing anything y those times. Anyone who disagrees can fukk outta here with any type of dystopian or discrimination talks.
