Big Daddy
Fight or die fighting, no surrender.
It's not on our shoulders. It's partly government, partly society.
All we can do is raise our kids and instill in them morals and values so that they can combat negative messages and choose right for themselves.
We've been waiting for govt/society to help change the violence in Black community for DECADES now.
It comes to a point where it IS on our shoulders, because obviously no one else gives a fukk about us, but us.
And what if I told you that the parents of these girls DID in fact raise them with morals and values and taught them how to combat negative messages(not sure what that has to do with them being innocently gunned down while engaging in typical college student activities) and taught them how to 'choose right for themselves', as you say...and yet, their lives were still cut short? Because that's exactly what happened. Their parents did everything right, for all we know. They raised their kids successfully enough that they lived to see adulthood, then sent them to college. What more were they supposed to do again?
society is set up for people to lose. You go to college to get an education and a degree so you can get a good job, or learn a trade, not party. Those girls were innocent, I'm not saying otherwise, but if they weren't out at 2:30AM they would still be alive.
. Which is some shyt u only really c in movies foreal
