Also, using Limp Bizkit as the intro was a TERRIBLE decision lol

It's correct music for the time period of when DMC came out, rock music is all throughout the games. The essence of DMC is a cheesy 2000s action film

Yeah, I get that. The music throughout the show was mostly fine. It's really the Limp Bizkit intro that I'm not a fan of.

Finished it today.

Not familiar with the source material but I enjoyed it for the most part.

Rabbit was a great villain. The episode where they show his origin and Mary was far away the best episode.

In a lot of stretches Dante seemed like a side character and Mary and Rabbit were the main protagonist/antagonist.

The episode where Mary and her team infiltrate the Demon's building was straight out of The Raid.

I give it 6.5/10.

Show was solid. My only complaint is they nerfed the shyt out of Dante… and buffed Mary up something major.

Mary was never ever close to beating Dante in the games. He used to toy with her, and now he can’t get a dub against her.

That’s because they made Dante weak af. Video game Dante would have got injected by that tranquilizer and said something like what else you got for me. There’s no amount of outsmarting Lady could do to even come close to lore accurate Dante.

Just started watching this the soundtrack , I love the shytty Rock music it somehow fits. Feels like I'm watching this on Spike TV or MTV2 late night.
