TRENT DILFER ETHERED THE NFL ON ESPN THIS MORNING.

He said:

We should be celebrating the incredible awareness of Tony Romo to throw a catchable pass on 4th and 2 and the amazing athleticism of Dez Bryant to catch that ball. Those plays are what sporting events are all about and should be rewarded. Instead we are discussing how a clearly caught ball was deemed not caught. The NFL rule book has become so convoluted due to the NFL and the competition committee and it is their fault these bad rules are made, not the officials. When I walk the field before MNF officials' heads are spinning before a game because there are so many loopholes and things in the rule book they don't even understand themselves. The league is worse than it was 10 years ago due to this, not better.

Man I'm not arguing "how much" of a catch it was. It was a catch. Most here agree the Calvin Johnson one was a catch too.

Explain why they ruled (even after a booth review) that Dez catch from Spade's video was a catch when he was "stumbling" forward and lost the ball reaching for the goal line.
In Spade's vid. To me it look like Dez established possession around the 8 1/2 -9 yrd line and starts to run. The stumble didn't start until he was getting tackled at the 6-7yrd line. Basically, he established possession through the catch in which he was not going to the ground at the time.

See this is that shyt I can't stand...

Had he not made an effort while falling forward dez would have got all kind of shyt for lack of effort...

He was 3-4 inches away from it being a catch. In retrospect he should have just secured the ball. Million dollar effort he was just short 37 cents. :manny:

the defender made contact with dez yesterday too.
Did Dez establish possession before or after contact was made.

Note: Possession in this case is different, because he's going to the ground in the process of making a catch.

:salute:to what Trent said. To call off that last play with all its brillance is fukking disgusting. Complete turn off towards to the NFL.

Its so damn clear, that dez last step with his left foot was a push for the end zone... With control of the ball....

nikkas out here learning from their cac brethren. Why don't y'all stop being cowards and say y'all hate the Boys instead of acting like grade school bytches coming up with stupid reasons why this happened and is cool. nikkas if the Det play didn't happen would still be saying the same shyt so just be honest about it. shyt ain't nothing wrong with hating on the boys but making half ass reasons why that's cacs with their " I don't like him cause he showboats" ass flows which is so :scust:.

If the Detroit play never happened, I doubt you guys would have been in that position last week.

But I will play your game, I detest the Cowboys yeah,(their players, their owner, and their fan base :scust:) I would have been happy y all went out like that just because I detest everything about y'all. Hell yeah.

What makes it even more satisfying about what happened yesterday..... is the fact, You nikkas were steady denying all week the bullshyt that happened against Detroit last week.

Yall were like "it wasnt pass interference because Ebron grabbed his face mask" and

"It wasn t a hold on Suh because they did the same thing to Witten the play before".

or

"Dez should not be penalized cause The refs have discretion in enforcing that rule"

And for you guys to go out on the rules and refs overturning a thought to be clear touchdown:banderas:.

And Dez looking like this:dez: after he ran onto the field again without his helmet.

Just the way it happened, and if this was a book about a fictitious team, I guess I would have just admired the beauty of the Poetic Justice of the circumstances and the results I assume. :banderas:

Yea the Lions situation...you had people mad over a no-call PI where the ball was uncatchable and the defenders face mask was being held. That would have been a bail out. Here you add a potentially classic moment negated due to an incoherent ruling.

I think everybody think the rule is the problem, the Refs made the right call. So y'all weren't cheated. Just got to finish the play and leave no doubts.

Everywhere
Perception is everything. People only see what their 'MIND' allows them to see, which is not much these days, unfortunately in the age of Reactionary/Emotional/reality TV, Sugar/Cocaine/alcohol, 'BrainDamageCELLphones', GMO Foods/obesity, Sex Harness/Porn, you name it. Dez made a hella of catch and tried to extend to the end zone.
Get your contract young man. :salute:
