lmao at over thinking a comic book movie
c00ns like the one in the OP video will find anything to moan about
do people forget this movie is based upon a comic,
he also said dissing weaves is dissing African American women lmao,

the most positive black movie ever and people complain about it

yet theres a shyt load of movies that are full of stereotypes about black people and no one says anything.

Weaves are a c00n and bedwench symbol of pride.

Everywhere...You never there.

Crazy B. Jordan isn’t getting more burn on the promo circuit for his role.

Writers are brilliant tho ... to some measure, it plays on so many elements of the diaspora experience, conjuring and evoking so many age old buried memories ... the symbolism of Kil being killed is deeper than rap, too.

90% of black folk people rooting against their own interests by rooting for the “protagonist” in this movie .

And that’s what they want.’

Explain how blacks identifying with the protagonist is rooting against their own interest. I’ll say it again, the lesson of the movie was that ultimately killmonger was right and the wakandans were wrong.

Kilmonger had the right idea but he wasn't the right man to lead. He had too many demons and was trained in fukked up american military tactics. Breh had tyrant written all over him and would have eventually turned on his own people because of paranoia.
All of the commentary in the bold is just a bunch of weak excuses and unsubstantiated biased interpretations. American military tactics may be fukked up but they’re effective. There was nothing in the movie that showed him to be a tyrant either. He was filled with rage and rightfully so. He was the one who was done wrong by the wakandans, not the other way around.

He was a savage for sure ... but his death symbolized killing off the spirit of revolution and Pan Africanism and Black Liberation.

They also painted the face of revolution to be borderline irrational, possibly enhancing, at least subliminally, some uppity negroes and uppity Africans disdain of those from the most intense of the intense struggle.

They had a real chance to better humanize black folks plight and any subsequent revolution but didn’t. Also think that it shouldn’t been better explained about how Kil felt like he was forced to play within the overarching white “supremacist” system to get a head and how that same system, indirectly led to the death of his pops.

Again, a lot of missed opportunities here for humanization.

They need to make a part 2 and fix that shyt. Now. :damn:

But y’all need to understand. American “Wakandans” made this film.

At the end of the day it aint Kilmongers movie, it's Black Panther. There's only so much back story you can give the Villain. I thought they did a good job making you sympathize. All that other stuff about snuffing the flame of revolution. Oh, duh. This is a Marvel super hero movie, not birth of a nation.

Welp if we’re gonna primarily return to it being just a comic hero flick, we all need to stop over analyzing this shyt then :manny:
