He was king, it was his decision. Whether you agreed with him or not, everything that he did was according to (what the movie showed up be)wakandan law. The wakandans are the ones who arbitrarily contradicted their own laws/traditions. He became king fair and square ad they plotted against him because they didn’t like him. The original sin of the movie was the og panther abandoning him in America after killing his father. Killmonger didn’t trust the ruling class of wakandans and had every right not to. He was there to change course completely. Besides I think it’s foolish to assume that they gotten more of the herbs even with him burning the crop that they had. I certainly wouldn’t assume that the last of it was the little bit that Lupita salvages to restore t’challa. I assume that killmonger could’ve gotten more eventually.

I just find the resistance to killmonger to be funny in a very telling way.

They clearly acknowledged oppressors in the movie on several occasions. Killmonger's father also talked about how blacks in america are over policed and drugs are pumped into our neighborhoods. They didn't demonize shyt. They spoke some truth.

If anything, Kilmonger was painted a villian because he had black american mannerisms, it wasn't even his message or goals, it was the fact that he was just a cocky american black dude. They couldn't even come up with clear arguments when he talked about giving weapons to black people worldwide. So i agree the movie "demonized" black americans, but only from the stand point of old american propaganda making anything black american being wrong.

If anyone believes Ryan Coogler who is AA(and freaking made FRUITVALE!) was trying to demonize AAs then I don't know what to tell yall. If anything Killmonger purpose was to show how freaking flawed Wakandans are in their assbackwards thinking. Something like this happens in the comic stories where T'Challa has to change Wakanda's thinking compared to the last generation of kings. Someone can simply argue that Coogler was following the original source. Anyways its called drama/tragedies something which is needed to make a film interesting.

Dude that's just the coli. They have completely forgot this is a Super Hero movie and believe its a black movie full of social connotation that was made to directly endorse white supremacy and anti revolutionary sentiment. I keep explaining he was not the villain because he wanted to free blacks, but because he wanted to destroy Wakanda.......which is the home to the hero, directly making the hero's dilemma to save his home(which in this case he needed to stop his technology from escaping to the masses). Magneto is a much more grey villain with clear humanity. Killmonger was well... a Killmonger.

Fundamentally like Magento - Killmonger was correct. Wakandan elites had been idle while the rest of Africa suffered. But everything else he was 100% wrong for. It showed a lack of understanding for his position. You fully Deep why Magneto is the way he is. Without being a black person (AA OR AFRICAN) you wouldn’t fully Deep how we’ve been exploited and crucified. Visually it doesn’t Deep much beyond ‘whites are racists and colonisers’ beyond dialogue. You don’t see much of the history. You don’t see Killmonger killing overseas as CIA.

That's because Killmonger was trained by the US military and CIA to become efficient at killing. As T'Challa said, in his quest for power, he had become the very thing he hated.
