Im not adding nothing new to the convo but as someone that essentially watched every game for both Cam and Burrow, Cam as an individual impressed me. LSU as an entire offense impressed me. IDK if you can have the best receiving core, arguably the best RB in the conference, and chalk up a QB's performance to just him.

For Cam's case, Michael Dyer was an amazing talent, but it was only his freshman year and he didnt pan out. Our best receiver, Darvin Adams, came out too early and never ended up better than a CFL talent. Great TE, but he rarely got burn. RB is probably the only position we compared to 2019 LSU in at all. Hell you could spread it to both sides of the ball and other than DL and RB, LSU beats us across the board.

Gotta double check but might not have played a snap. OL is the the only thing I’m not sure of.
Lee Ziemba made it to Carolina's practice squad, I believe that is the only other NFL player that started on that squad (and that was probably done as a favor to Cam).

What about Clemson with healthy Trevor Lawrence? Y'know.. the reigning national champ who BEAT Tua when he was healthy and was looked at as the best QB prospect in over a decade before Burrow made him look ordinary... :jbhmm:And the other slew of top ranked teams him and LSU stomped to just reach Clemson in the title game while going undefeated throughout the whole season. What juggernauts did Cam and Tebow beat in their best seasons while putting up worse numbers than Burrow in the process??:unimpressed:

The answer to the thread is a resounding "duh" and anyone claiming otherwise is a hater. :umad:
That's true Impossible to overlook the recent serge of Clemson. They are amongst the new power rivaling Alabama. LSU only has recently just appeared in a many people's eyes.

I think it's also the fact that they have the College Football playoffs that wasn't being done during Cams run.

When you look at what LSU's offense had been the previous 20 years, Hell fukking Yeah.

Dude finally got LSU past the 10 ton elephant and then went on to consecutively smoke three top 5 teams on the way to the National Championship. :wow:

I don't see how you can say Cam. Look at the numbers. Cam's last year is probably #2.

the 2018 Clemson def made Tua look ordinary

and for the record, 2018 Clemson def >>> 2019 Clemson def

and burrow didn't make Trevor Lawrence look ordinary, he is ordinary. He wouldn't have even been in the chip if refs didn't blatantly cheat Ohio St.

Trevor Lawrence will be another Top 3 pick once the time comes.

I wish I could have seen Barry Sanders College run, i've heard it was magical, and I saw in the NFL how the line absolutely did not block for him at all. Barry retired early, and I probably would have done the same with that O-line.
I was only 9 or 10. Nebraska was my favorite team. I thought barry was all hype. He made me a fan that day
