Im not adding nothing new to the convo but as someone that essentially watched every game for both Cam and Burrow, Cam as an individual impressed me. LSU as an entire offense impressed me. IDK if you can have the best receiving core, arguably the best RB in the conference, and chalk up a QB's performance to just him.

For Cam's case, Michael Dyer was an amazing talent, but it was only his freshman year and he didnt pan out. Our best receiver, Darvin Adams, came out too early and never ended up better than a CFL talent. Great TE, but he rarely got burn. RB is probably the only position we compared to 2019 LSU in at all. Hell you could spread it to both sides of the ball and other than DL and RB, LSU beats us across the board.
You and me both know I’m not a fan of Auburn and I cannot deny what he did was up there.

Something also worth bringing up is that the SEC was way better defensively back then. Maybe cause offenses were worse on avg in 2010, but there were only three defenses you could consider good in the SEC last season and LSU had one of them

By modern standards he did but I like to think it was because he led his team to a title and he’s about to be the goat for my bengals...

but before that I always thought it was Barry Sanders because it was him who did that. Burrow has at least 5 other players on offense in this draft alone and some other first rounders.
That's a whole other discussion about the Bengals because, I feel like they need a little more than A QB. But he's is a great centerpiece, that definitely should be able to elevate them.

I see how you could think that way being that he wasn't even an afterthought at OSU
Not true, he was JT Backup, and had a good chance of beating Haskins out for the starting job the following year but he got hurt and fell behind Haskins, and Haskins never took his foot off the gas.
