Yes. Nash contributed hugely to the Sun's success those two years. I think in 06 he did it without Amare, one of the best scorers in the league at that point.

He should have at least one on his mantle. That cannot be refuted. In particular the stretch from the 2004-05 season to the 2006-07 season. Pick a year. Any year. He would have been a worthy MVP.

First MVP there were a handful of players with cases on par with his, if not better, but Nash has #s plus the better narrative (which I actually appreciate as a factor in these awards)
Second MVP was a joke to me, especially because he won in a landslide. There were 3-4 players with clearly better cases.
