Some years ago he did a interview on sirus. Dude sounding like a dweeb talking about about his groupie moms and how she smashed dominque wilkins
him and gibbs should haave had a mixtape together though.I damn near stanned for dude at one point.. he was that nikka.. where the fukk he at tho?
Tell us something we don't know, genius.Pill aint lazy, he aint in the streets (maybe tho), he aint get blackballed... Pill had a shytty management team, & when you have a shytty management team you fail.
A lot of people dont realize that Pill was originally a product Killer Mike's crew/artist. He broke off on his on when he did "Trap Goin Ham"... i just think he lacked the proper infrastructure to capitalize off of his buzz and it died before he could do anything with it. TEAM TEAM TEAM... Team is the key in the rap game. Good Team = Success it's that simple.
The way a boutique label like an MMG works is a lot of times when artist are "signed" there... it's not Ross himself finding and signing these artist... these label's are mostly used by majors to capitalize off of the premier artist/star.
So let's say your Rozay and you have a big wave going on. A label or mgmt. company may approach you and ask whether they can throw you bank to sign an artist (who isnt doing so well on his own...) and put him under your flag.
You basically are renting your brand out and also seeming like a "boss"/"entrepreneur" if it's a mutually beneficial situation (ie. Wale or Meek) when Meek failed to acquire the right buzz with T.I., or when Wale was on his last legs after his initial flop.
Ross took the chance/money and signed them, it worked cuz Meek brought The Northeast Streets/Youth and Wale brought the DMV area/female demographic... two markets that Ross has amplified since then... Pill was supposed to solidify the southern streets/trap... Ross woulda had Florida on up and the coast would been sewn up...
If u notice MMG nikkas dont REALLY fukk with each other. They really just artist who are singularly signed under the Warner umbrella, made to look like a crew because that image sells. A Prolonged Collab or Cross Marketing Branding. They all are still are responsible individually for there own set up/touring/branding etc. Pill team failed him and thats why he's probably somewhere feeling some kind of way when "Lotus Flower Bomb" comes on.
lmao i was thinkin about this same shyt the other day when on e his songs cam on my playlist
i think he's one of them that got super disgusted with the industry and MMG show ed him how fake the shyt can be
i alwasy wanted him to link up with gibbs and make moves.since gibbs shouts him out and they made songs

Tell us something we don't know, genius.
You wrote all of that and all you needed to do was tell us something we don't know, which you still didn't do. Great job jackassi want to preface with You aint got to read this... i dont give a fukk... but I hate dweebs like you with a passion so ima mob cuz Maybe someone will gain something from this...
Did you know Pills management situation? What's his managers name? Hmmmm i'll wait. I spoke on that shyt because I KNOW what happened. Ive met a ton of these nikkas in the game. I hate to hear a cats online speak on shyt they dont know. Especially calling an artist lazy when sometimes an artist failure aint on them. It aint cool to laugh at no nikkas stumble. Its fukked up karma wise to pop shyt about any mans (perceived) downfall.
You know so much? Answer me this... What percentage of touring goes to the label and boutique if the artist signs a 360 deal? What percentage goes to the booking agency? What percent goes the agent? How does a record advance even work? Do they just hand you a check? What is a typical artist advance now and how much of said advance is the artist responsible for paying back? How much goes to taxes? How does album delivery work? When is an album considered finished in the eyes of the law/label? Whats a first right of refusal? Who owns the master recording when your on a boutique label? What is a master? How about publishing can you tell me about that? Who owns a new artist publishing in most cases? In this case who owned Pill publishing? Was it Warner? MMG? Ross? Batman?
I can tell YOU all these things... fukk out my face... not everybody knows how boutique labels work. Not everybody knows how the industry works. Dumb ass nikkas still think a tax write off is a real thing and dudes get locked up for a buzz. Maybe someone needs to be educated to the game. It might be a nikka lurking who might have benefited from that post. fukk did u add to the discussion???
I aint a genius, maybe what i know, you already know... and that's fine... that dont mean another nikka aint gain from that post.
Last time i checked, we came on here to discuss the music game. What ive learned can be beneficial to someone out there. Some nikkas on here are just dweebs thats disgruntled with they own life or delusional. Its a few real heads up here. tho... so salute to them. nikkas like u tho, i couldnt kick it with u on no level in real life.
Also Pill was dope and i feel for that brother. I heard he was lying about his background, so who knows what else he got himself into with his mouth lying and shyt i dunno. But musically he was dope.
this..
this..
and, this.. to, the T..
not to mention.. same as Wale.. he was never a MMG "artist".. just affiliated... his deal was different..
what alot of folks dont know/remember- Killer Mike was his manager..![]()
