You know so much? Answer me this... What percentage of touring goes to the label and boutique if the artist signs a 360 deal? What percentage goes to the booking agency? What percent goes the agent? How does a record advance even work? Do they just hand you a check? What is a typical artist advance now and how much of said advance is the artist responsible for paying back? How much goes to taxes? How does album delivery work? When is an album considered finished in the eyes of the law/label? Whats a first right of refusal? Who owns the master recording when your on a boutique label? What is a master? How about publishing can you tell me about that? Who owns a new artist publishing in most cases? In this case who owned Pill publishing? Was it Warner? MMG? Ross? Batman?

Nah Pill's manager was a friend of mine I went to school with a young Jewish guy named Derek S, I think he went by the name White Boy D. Anyway after the whole MMG debacle he just slowly stopped putting out music & mixtapes. People forget it's hard to get second chances in this industry, if you get dropped that's almost like a death sentence, but I haven't heard a Pill record in a few years now

Anyway after the whole MMG debacle he just slowly stopped putting out music & mixtapes. Nah. When Pill linked with Ross/MMG he was with Derek. The reason I know this is because I was doing radio in Atlanta and we booked Pill for an interview through Derek who was his manager. This was early 2011. I will say that Derek & Pill were affiliated with GrindTime (Killer mike's label) at that time as well so maybe there was some connection, but Mike wasn't managing him, at least not directly.
