Did Sean Peyton offer an explanation for that game plan Saturday?

Lining up in the I formation and trying to run the ball on Seattle :mjlol:

Not using the RBs or Vertical passing games :mjlol:

Turning Brees in Alex check down king Smith :mjlol:

Sean peyton the offense genius :mjlol:

NO 2nd in Offense in 2012... 3rd in PPG.

Bu but but Sean Peyton and Brees are tied at the hip :mjlol:

Some teams have had sucess running the ball on Seattle. They gave up 200 yards rushing a couple times this year.

If you factor in the weather it makes sense why he ran so much.

I dont understand why he went for some of those feild goals in the wind though. Those were bad calls

As far as the last part of your post they were 8-8 last year and missed the playoffs without him. They won 11 games this year and won a playoff game

You can run on Seattle so I don't know why people are blasting him for using the I Formation.

But his playcalling was very questionable esp in the first half. Payton is one of the more innovative offensive minds in the game and probably outthunk himself.

Oh ok...

They gave a 200 yards a couple of times doesn't mean its a great game plan when you're team is 25th in rushing and 25th in rushing yards per game

Those screen calls were terribe
Down 8, 2:31 seconds to go, kick a 48 yard FG :dwillhuh:

The Yay
people who dont watch football exposing themselves

saints call a ton of screen plays, thats their MO. drew brees RB had more yards on screens than jamaal charles, and we know alex smith loves to checkdown
saints in general check down a ton.

running against seattle is a far better proposition than airing it out like an idiot. drew brees averaged less than 3 yards per passing attempt while saints run game averaged 5+ yards per carry in the first half.

the gameplan was completely right.

You should never put your defense in a position where they have to force a 3 and out or the game is over. That FG, with a kicker they just signed(and sucks) made no sense. On the road too.

Yes... especially when you have a top QB and you're playing against two deep safeties to take away the big play. You SHOULD run the football.
