Did Sean Peyton offer an explanation for that game plan Saturday?

that was their only chance. but yeah, depending 100% on the qb to win games is the reason.

they couldnt do shyt with their secondary in the first game, and seahags disrespected the shyt out of hem by putting the usual 9-10 in the box against a high-powered offense

you gotta understand saints pass game is predicated on accuracy, precision and timing. seattle secondary plays press, does sneaky holds, and game was in shytty ass weather. worst possible situation for them

Sounds like the genius of Sean Peyton should have figured something better out.

His response?

...

His respose?

running the ball isnt 'coaching scared'
its integral part of the game of football. stop it

what else can he think up if his pass offense cant do shyt and drew brees couldnt complete a simple 5 yard pass most people on this forum would be able to easily ? its not his fault ingram fumbled either

it was like 2-4 people on Jimmy, Brees tried to go to dude and failed most of times. how he gonna put him position to succeed when we saw the seahawks bottom him up completely

there's a legit argument to be made that they should have gone to the hurry up sooner....especially when they went down 16-0

Bruh, You can scheme Jimmy into getting open.

The Saints should be able to win games with Jimmy producing anyway

they were already having trouble with personnel and crowd noise forcing them use up TOs and get delay of games. you really wanted them to go hurry up

Its not an integral part of Saints football 25th in Rushing offense and 26th in attempts

They lost to a better team honestly so its whatever...but I thought the Saints coming out like that was a little bizarre. The rain sure as hell didnt help though....and you're not running screens against that defense...but going two wide out of the gate and running bum ass Ingram isnt what the Saints do.

and you know this how
the same way you 'know' they shouldve "gone to the hurry up sooner"

the saints werent doing shyt in passing the ball the first game, and had a goose egg in the first half. drew brees was looking awful out there, but of course you'll try to shift blame to payton :heh: its payton who was throwing the ball to no one on pass plays :lupe:

:dwillhuh: Do you know how hard it is to run a hurry up offense and huddle playing at Seattle? Did you not see the difficulties the Saints had just getting the play out for the huddle in time? It may not sound that hard to do until you are in there playing in these circumstances at Seattle. Plus the running game began to make the Seahawks honor the run game and opened up the passing game for the Saints.

Brees didn't play well either. I thought he played like a wuss too.
