I don't see how a broadcaster/streamer can reverse engineer. They are only receiving a feed, they cannot pinpoint where the unique id is going to flash on the screen, it is random. So the id will be exposed... unless they have another method to block out the id?

yeah if this isn't cap from dana it's a major threat towards streaming sites. detecting the fingerprint is a game of cat and mouse, it's easy for the ufc to switch up and (computationally) hard for streamers to catch up. and if the streamer fukks up just once, the ufc has the info they need to sue him.

It randomly repositions for 1 frame every 10 seconds. So 60 frames per second it will come up at a randomized spot once in a fraction of a second. So it will appear randomly 90 times in a 15 minute fight and 150 times randomly in a 25 minute fight.
