im actually surprised this hasn't been used more often. I remember for my "Defense against the dark arts" class for my Computer Engineering degree, they showed us how you can embed a picture in another picture using an algorithm, and the original image would look no different.

As a software developer it seems like this would be easy to circumvent:
1. Identify frames with the ID.
2. Remove them.
3. Stream the others.

1 isn't even that hard. OCR is pretty advanced already. If you bolster it with some refined AI to catch distorted/rotated characters it's game over.
