Did Vegeta Surpass Goku In The Android Saga?

Vegeta was stronger than Trunks, not in brute strength but it wasn't an arm wrestling contest it was a fight, even Goku said that form had a weakness cuz it slows you down, even Cell clowned Trunks for transforming into that super buff mode Cell gave Trunks some hands and told Trunks even Vegeta was smart enough not to power up to the point of gettin super brolic.


To answer OP once Goku got out the chamber with Gohan he was more powerful than Prince Vegeta, even if Vegeta didn't catch the hands from Perfect Cell and was at his full strength.

but I honestly think SS2 Vegeta would gave Trunks that work if he powered up and blew up his muscles Vegeta woulda whipped his a$$ in hand to hand combat just like Perfect Cell after he got out the chamber. IMO of course

He still wasn't stronger than Trunks, muscled up or not.

Meanwhile he was showing Godhan the limitations of bulking up the ssj form.

Fast forward to the Cell Vs Goatku fight everyone is astounded at his new power, except Godhan.

Gohan is on some "show your true strength pops."

There's a reason the androids were sent to kill Goku because Vegeta will take himself out with the automatic L.

Im assuming by “surpass” the OP is talking about strength. Not who would win in a strategic fight. So in that regard, vegeta was not stronger than goku or trunks. Trunks hid his strength from his father to not hurt his pride, only revealing it while he was comatose after fighting perfect cell

They gained more power in their Super Saiyan form but they gave up things like speed and gained rapid energy consumption.

Vegeta lost to 18 because he couldn't maintain his energy and was outclassed. Trunks and Vegeta didn't master energy consumption and tried to swim in an ocean after learning how to float.

Basics will lead to advanced techniques.

Goatku is a harder worker. That's why he's better than vegeta. He's more combat savvy and is a genius fighter. The only one like that in the show.
