Did video gaming pass you by?

yeah I think it might be over for me I gave my PS5 to my nephew and my Xbox is collecting dust. I'll only probably play games like Grand Theft Auto or Red dead when they occasionally release, but it's over for me on madden,2k, etc all the games I use to collect yearly.

Came in here to say this. I'm a sports, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter dude. My wife plays all the open world games but that's slowed down. Basically waiting for GTA6 and if they delay it again, I'm out.

I go over to the Arcadium and get completely lost.

I see brehs talking about these games and when I try to play those games, I lose patience. My era was putting the game in, selecting 1 or 2 players, and getting right to the action. That's what I'm used to.

But now, you have to follow the story, read through a bunch of dialogue(where I rapidly press x on some "I ain't tryna read all that shít. I just wanna play"), then when I get to the actual gameplay, I'm walking in circles, doubling back to where I was, etc. I think it was that Hogwarts game.

I got frustrated and found teenage mutant ninja turtles on PS plus, and felt more comfortable playing

I honestly think it's because there's nothing ground breaking that hasn't been released already and people like you and me are bored because we've seen the same thing just with a different title. Plus most games for the past 10 years want you to spend more on transactions then purchasing the game itself. Madden and 2k is priced at 70, but they want you to spend 300 to make your player or team be competitive and if you a free player you either have to play long hours to build yourself up or continue to lose.
