For example I've noticed they suddenly started discrediting passer rating because Lamar has basically broken that stat and overtaken their prototype.
none of those teams he’s played on post seattle have found any success, but of course it was all his fault they didn’t win when he was there

ESPN with QBR (2011) became a thing before Lamar Joined the NFL because passer rating had limitations that people started calling out. Limitations that didn't include rushing but also didn't penalize sacks and fumbles etc.
and look at them bobby wagner and russ the only guys left
all those other dudes could barely make it to 30 in the nfl, russ making more in a year than they did in their whole career. Brehs got dui cases pending, restraining orders etc.

Even without being the focal point he was the difference maker imo, LOB & Beast Mode went 7-9 the year before Russ was drafted.
It's just obvious bridges were burned between the special treatment Pete gave him, and how corporate/disengaged Russ became from the boys.
