Did y'all see Sherman throwing Russell Wilson under the bus to boost himself up?

Sherman is one of the 5 best CBs of the past 15 yrs, can't say the same for baby hair
How can you say that when his deficiencies were obviously covered by the DC working around his inability to line up on both sides of the field.

And honestly, Seattle's defense was a sum of all parts, not just the secondary.

No it doesn’t. Sherman will be remembered as a much greater player then Russ

People's hate for Russell Wilson has always been personal, and not football related. Richard Sherman was a loud mouth who was replaceable, Wilson was the reason those average receivers looked good.

Russ is playing himself out of an HOF spot.

His argument is borderline at best and if you want him to make it, you'd hope he found success post Seattle to seal it.

Instead he's been an ineffective journeyman. He could've retired when he left Seattle and his resume would be just as good.

this.

I still think he's puttin on an act with this persona of his (no way a nikka QB in Virginia would be allowed to bully and beat up white kids at a private school and get away with it. no matter how good of a QB he was.) He overcompensating for that period in his life to me.

But Sherman having all this smoke for him still when it's Pete/The OC who should be getting the blame.

And nikkaz still ignoring the fact that Baby Hair even asked Marshawn if he should audible to a run before that play and Marshawn said nah is conveniently ignored.

Russ has made poor career choices after leaving Seattle no doubt (going to Denver with a trash ass Head Coach, then Sean Payton's :mjpls: ass comes in, going to the Steelers with trash ass Arthur Smith as your Offensive Coordinator, and now DaBoll with the Giants).

Sherm still thinks nikkaz forgot about his legal incidents too. What if cats stay bringing that shyt up about what you did slim? :mjpls:

nikkaz constantly attacking other black players for clout/ratings/attention but staying silent on cacs doing the same shyt never sits well with me.
Tony G being a goofy bringing it up too is mighty :mjpls: considering how trash he was in the playoffs. Look at this shyt.

  • Playoff Games Played: 7
  • Receptions: 30
  • Receiving Yards: 286
  • Receiving Touchdowns: 4
  • Playoff Record: 0-7
4.3 catches for 41 yard average and winless in the playoffs. :scust:

Russ does come off trying too hard, I get it. But nikkaz taking that shyt personally like it affects them. And again, they don't say shyt about cacs doing the same.

Sherman was on the all decade team :mjlol:

Every player has to play in the right system to maximize their abilities...and he's the greatest cover 3 corner of all time

Did baby hair make the all decade team?

I bet Sherman gets a gold jacket before baby hair

So what? Tom Brady threw 3 picks in one half in the NFC championship and his defense held a Pat Mahomes offense to under 10 points, so what?

Once upon a time Tom Brady was questioned too. It was well understood that his first super bowls were because of special teams and defense. There was serious discussion that’s he was a system QB. However Tom proved himself to be a complete beast and have the career accolades that made his Gold Jacket undeniable. Comparing Russ to Tom ain’t it.

With that being said I personally believe Russ should be in the HOF.

Russ has been selected to 10 Pro Bowls. Everyone ahead of him is either in the HOF or a lock to the HOF (Rodgers/Brees).

Rivers up there too.

None of Rivers, Matt Ryan or Russell Wilson should make it. They're all around the same tier to me.

Sherman been a weirdo, used one of the biggest moments of his life to shyt on another black man. Always engaging in this one sided beef with Russ. Seems like he needs therapy
Sherman and Marshawn in particular have made Russ into a sympathetic figure. Russ don't speak on them nikkas. Too busy being in the NFL, taking care of his family, and enjoying his $300m+ in career earnings

You want to argue semantics?

All they're saying is he was on a HOF trajectory and fell off.
He already has a hall of fame career. Almost everybody “falls off” before they retire.

I’ve NEVER heard the concept of someone playing themselves out of the HOF if they already have the accolades to be there.

I dont agree with that.

No MVPs
No All Pros
Doesn't hold any major records
Not elite relative to peers

People bring up pro bowls because that's his biggest individual accomplishment.

Now i would agree that early on he was on the path, just never really materialized.

To be fair Marshawn don't speak unless ask. And they personally knew him and played with him so they can feel how they choose. Russ not speak on nothing, not even when an old white man his screaming in his face blatantly disrespecting him.

There is something to be said for Wilson losing the divorce with Pete Caroll, the same way Brady won his Belicheck divorce

A divorce in sports is where the player and coach go their separate ways after a lot of friction, and everyone watching what happens next. Carroll basically plugged in Geno Smith and kept things humming
