I saw another more in depth one about the situation. It was a crazy situation, we don't really know all the ins and outs, but it's a shame.

I can see why Jay did what he did. Beans had his chances, but he kept it to street or 'real' in his eyes! Jay cant look after this dude forever.

You don't know enough to say "Jay had nothing to lose". Are you a lawyer? A judge? A rich entertainer with an employee with a serious criminal history? Have you ever been asked to be responsible for another person in such a capacity? You have nothing to go by except for your biased feelings. Wouldn't this mean if Beans violated his parole in any capacity Jay would also be liable? C'mon guy grow up.

No. I been working in the court system for 15 years and Judges cant do that. Now in juvenile court they may hold a guardian responsible for a kid, but not with adults. Beans would have been responsible for himself. But since the Judge asked him and he's not a lawyer, Jay probably didn't understand that. I don't even know why she asked him that. I could see it being confusing if you are not a lawyer.
All that being said, would anybody on this board be comfortable with being responsible for Beanie Sigel?
