Empire strikes back
Im just saying man...when team is good, a guy like mark sanchez becomes passable, at least short term. and we both can agree that he wasnt very good ( I wouldnt say he was garbage tho)ok? small sample size....the Steelers game his fumble effectively lost them the game though.
Sanchez wasnt suddenly not a bad QB because it was the playoffs. The guy started 16 games in college....there was no chance it was going to work.
long term...well. I dont think it would hurt some of the brain dead qbs like stafford and dalton focus on accuracy and short passing, and being more conservative when situation demands it. you're right in that there are not many classic 'conservative', "game manager qbs" anymore per se
but thats another point. imo there are more good qbs than ever. the elite few are still few, but the good enough ones just keep on coming, just over last few years so many passable qbs entered the league, everyone is finna be throwing 20+ td nowadays.
at the end of the day the teams around him biggest accomplishments are about the same as jets with sanchez
