I'm all about players doing what they want to do. If you want to take less when you're worth more in order to help ownership field a better team, than by all means, go ahead. I mean, I wouldn't do that shyt, but we all different.

But this type of shyt doesn't help their fellow NBA players. The facts are, they should be getting paid more, especially the top tier stars. So taking less than your market value is not good for the players union.

People like David West dont matter as much, but what Durant just did was huge. I'm sure the heads of the players union ain't happy about that. Dirk ain't in his prime, but he can command much more, and I'm sure the players union would want him too. Look what Kobe did. That nikka was not fukking around.
