its crazy that he came thru with return of the macdude from like 02 to 06 was absolute trash but that was one of the best projects of the decade in my opinion. beatwise maybe one of the most cohesive cds ever

There was always Mobb fans who would put Prodigy over Nas. But if we are just talking the overwhelming consensus of knowledgeable heads - absolutely they would go with Nas.My opinion is just as valuable as yours my nikka so Foh with that. As a huge fan of Mobb Deep and Prodigy fan I am telling you P was never considers better than Nas at any point.

But pretty much everyone on that list is arguable. I wouldn't be mad at all if somebody picked five of those names over P - but I wouldn't expect them to be mad if P ended up in the top 5 either.
And I know that was just mid 90s - but P was vicious through 99 (even though there was a slight decline on MM). And the overall talent level dropped in the late 90s. So P is top five in the late 90s as well.
