Havoc on more trife life:banderas:
That's like my second favorite song off Hell On Earth, that beat is cold AF. They gotta continue the Trife Life series :to:

I like the first Trife Life, them nikkas sound like their voices merged or some shyt in that track. That hypnotic fairy tale beat with Hav talking about shooting nikkas in the head for they chains after they visit their girl and P talking about almost getting stuck up in Brooklyn. :blessed:
You did not like Murda Muzik ? Quiet Storm :wow:
I fukk with Murda Muzik, I just think Infamous is his absolute peak.

I always thought in the mid to late 90s era P was def a top 5 emcee. I'll go on record as far as saying before the Beef with Jay/Takeover he had a better body of work than Jay did. His grimey voice and delivery stood alone.

That fall off from MM to Infamy was just so baffling and one of the biggest disappointments.

After 2pac & Biggie died and the smoke had cleared he was the best in 97-98.

It wasn't until Stillmatic that people started really saying Nas was better.

But during the mid to late 90's when rap music reached it's pinnacle P was untouchable.

This isn't true, P was never considered better then Nas.

Came in to say this. P in the 90's is one of the most phenomenal MC's ever but he never was considered better than Nas.

Havoc was a dope MC during this period too. I've always felt he is underrated for what he brings on the mic
He tried to play tough so i put one in his brain
Even though i took his life, all i wanted was the chain

Come through truck without heat? How you figure?
When you in the projects keep your fingers on the trigger.

Up North Trip and Trife Life are probably my two fave hav verses. criminally underrated MC. That bolded line is one of those most chilling ive ever heard :merchant:

The thing about Prodigy that was so ill
is that not only was his voice so fukkin chilling and raw
but the brother had bars!!
I wont lie for a minute...
I didnt like that Juvenille Hell shyt
But my man hit me with the Infamous shyt when it dropped and Im thinkin "are these the same muthafukkas?!"
I cant imagine being a white dude or even a black kid from the suburbs and listening to that shyt lol
them nikkas took that street life shyt to a whole new level
you can feel that shyt

"they locked me up for 12 days
I cant comprehend
now Ima free man on the streets again
chasing st ides down with some Seagrams gin
life is like a dice game and im in to win"

Prodigy on Hell on Earth was soooooo fukkin dope, yo what the fukk happened to dude? Was it his health condition? I mean, that's gotta be it for real. I never heard a definitive reason for him droppin like that. As a West Coast nikka, even after that 90s beef shyt, I thought Prodigy was on his way to being unstoppable right behind Nas as far as East Coast nikkas go.
muthafukka was unbelievable
his 2nd verse on "Hell on Earth" was absolute perfection

I know a kid who has the whole verse tatted on his back lol
crazy

Prodigy's fall off is one of the greatest fall offs in skill in hip hop history to me. I never witnessed a MC on the level that he was at deteriorate in skill like that. Ever. He should be saluted tho for still putting out quality music.
