I technically live in a luxury apartment right now in surbuban Florida, it's not a flex down here.


Maybe it is if you live in a prime location in Miami or something but a surbuban neighborhood in the Tampa Bay area? Nah.



It's also a gated community and has a pool and a lake.

What makes it luxury other than the marketing?

Nah, I don't go swimming in the lake. I've seen other people fishing at the lake from land though.



I seen a wild Gator for the first time like a month ago, I did the Whoa! like Black Rob Before that I only seen them in zoos.

Nowadays they claim anything as a "luxury apartment".

Put some grey laminate floors. stainless steel appliances, a glass shower, a "resort style" pool, and some planet fitness weights and all of a sudden its "luxury".

Most of the time you're just paying for the neighborhood.

Some people don't care about the "aesthetic" of luxury and just want a decent apartment that is simply not a complete piece of shyt.

I can go with this..yet its technically luxury to have all what you described in an apartment

My beef right now with my building is for all the money we pay, these stipulations DC has with having a certain amount of units for people who have low income..and when I tell you they bring down the building aesthetics. They invite all their family and kids to the rooftop pool. Rooftop Grilling area parties..You cant even enjoy it. Nyggas will come downstairs in the lobby with robes on getting coffee [coffee free all day for residents) chicks downstairs in Bonnets and robes. Loud as shyt at times. Its a evenly split building between white and
black.. probably a little more white tho.

Shyt blows me.. I feel my only benefit is the convenience with the location. I only drive when I absolutely want to or have to. I have everything near me. I wanna go back to PG county MD tho, but its nowhere near the convenience

Low key, some of these folks with these antics - are college degree'd, good job, good money, and paying market rent.
