I know sony fans can't wait to drop deuces all over this but this is the system you should want to play ALL your multi plat games on now.
Of course you won't and another 399 will be far to much for a "slight upgrade" over the ps4 pro's slight upgade over the ps4.

One min you want the most powerful system the next you want game's then later on you want some middle grown.
A huge reason I respect nintendo so much is because they stick to there vision and go for it instead of listening to what should or shouldn't be done on the internet.
Why wouldn't you buy a Scorpio if your biggest reason for buying a pro was a graphical one 80 percent of the year you'll be playing multi plat games. p's and k's are so important to you (like it was for the ps pro) then picking this up should be a no brainer.
With that said I think the ps4>>>xb1 right now. But there is no way I'd go out and buy a pro because I'm not a graphic's nut, and neither are alot of you from the sounds of it. I probably wont by the scorpio either unless there is something that blows me away.

Of course nobody read the article, which states that Microsoft does not say anyting about running checkerboard 4K, just stating that if you suck as a developer? Then those types of techniques are available in the universe
Peep the last paragraph if reading is not fundamental... It also goes into how they already have Forza running in NATIVE 4K but lets ingonre this because the PS4pro cannot do that

trying to hit 4K with modern games you're gonna run into bottlenecks everywhere. besides a powerful gpu, you're gonna need a real good cpu, and high bandwidth all around. shyt needs to be streamlined to move a lot of data very quickly

I've been trying to tell y'all, even the PS4pro people, it takes a ton to run 4K at high/ultra.
I have 2 Titan X P's (22 teraflops) and I struggle to achieve 4K on a few games (not many though
). If you want to game in 4K you gotta have more than 6 teraflops. So, this whole faux 4K thing makes sense to me.

Nobody knows, all it is is speculation at this point bc all they've done is announce the system. It's the exact same strategy Sony used with the pro tbh. We'll know more at E3 I assume, but for right now I care more about game announcements but I'll probably pick one up eventually depending on what the final specs will be.
A 1070 is over the TFLOPS on this New Xbox and the MSRP is $379. Microsoft is ordering this stuff in bulk they'll get the cost down to $399.

It's possible to hit 4K 60fps with 6.1 TFLOPS but it cant run the textures in Ultra. It's probably around medium to high but it would be dope regardless. Scorpio >
