But in reality we don't know shyt about the Scorpio's CPU, GPU, or 4K capability at all really.

So we're still at the stage where folks are passing off speculation as fact.

If there's a chance they're wrong about more than 25% of it, it's basically not a leak, just throwing darts at a board. If you get 10 guys in a room trying to determine what mid-to-high spec parts some new OEM hardware might have inside, you can reasonably determine a good list of possibilities based on vague statements from the company. It's not really predictions though, just guessing.

Speculation is fun, but yeah. Even I fukkin' fell for it, lol

Every Xbox community felt for it, but never underestimate a Stan. They read that entire leak 3 times, and decipher each sentence making sure it couldn't be called out by any Sony head. Switch initial specs wasn't what it was, PS4 Pro initial specs was nowhere close to what it was, but Scorpio? Yeah they'll break that cycle. People never learn. I won't be disappointed because as long as it's better than the S, I'm copping.

At a recent press conference, AMD CEO Lisa Su is quoted saying they will work closely with Microsoft and Sony to jointly develop new custom-design SoCs that would be out in 2018. For now, the PS4 Pro and the upcoming Xbox Scorpio will use AMD’s latest 14nm graphics chip coupled with the existing CPU core.

If so, I'm in. From what I gathered from the PC and Sony people prior to the spec leak, consoles will not be able to smoothy handle 4k gaming no time in the recent future regardless of what available specs, am I right, it nah?

I assume you still own a first generation touch screen phone since the upgrades are actually trivial when we are being objective.

Or are you just feeling this way about a console purchase every 2-3 years?

The difference between the ps4 and ps4 pro is not enough to warrant repurchasing the system unless you're an idiot.

The clarity differences between 1080 p and 4k is almost neglible to the human eye.

You have to really study the images to see a difference.

A person who upgrades their graphics card every black Friday because 249$ is too good to pass up and they have the disposable income is not an idiot.
