Naw, if someone is going to go into that area regardless of who they are whether black, white, Asian and etc. get into it. Don't be scared. Read about slavery, the invention of the concept of race, stereotypes, politics and etc. After awhile you can see who is really into vs who is just going this for sure. Proactive > reactive.

And if you are black and this is starting to dawn on you as an adult.... where the fukk were you? luckily , I got my lesson as a pre teen at 11, 12 years old. The shyt is too real out here to just wake up at 20.

We all wake up differently, I would never belittle a black person for waking up and realizing the system they live in was not made for them.

Public schools indoctrinate us with this belief that there is no racism in this country, that we should stand for the flag and be proud to be Americans. Alot of us don't get out of that mindset until we have left the public school system and have had a chance to live in the real world.


There is no "expiration date" for when someone can wake up. Our situation in this country is very unique and it can definitely be an internal battle for us...the love for this country because we were born here, mixed with the hate u feel once u learn the true history of this nation and how we fit into it.


That's good u learned early about this, but some of us will not get that wake up call at such a young age. Those of us who are "woke" should be trying to wake others, not bragging about how u got enlightened b4 everyone else. Each one teach one

I'm glad people are "waking up" but man if this don't sound like me years ago. I have been called militant as an insult a few times in real life before the coli even existed and now people sounding like I was sounding almost five or six years ago. I wasn't even one of those over the top type dudes about it, but people just wasn't trying to hear it at the time. Slick kind of made me jaded a little bit but I'm not even going to hate on it.. Hopefully it changes something in the long run.
