The topic of this thread isn’t how easy making a beat is or isn’t, it’s about wether Khaled is lying about making beats. How easy it may be is irrelevant. It’s either you believe his production credits and his word is enough proof, or you require more evidence such as myself.

Naw I’m not taking it as disrespect. I understand y’all point. Y’all saying it’s more than enough evidence and that’s a fair point. I’m saying despite his credits and his own word that he can and has made beats, I simply don’t believe him. Call me a hater or whatever. It’s some shyt that me and a lot of posters in here just have to disagree on. I can’t get past the fact he never actually has been seen touching equipment despite several videos of him on studio settings. And the fact that he has access to and seemingly great relationships with all these artist, but don’t produce outside of his own albums. Under no circumstance is that not odd. Is it proof he don’t can’t make beats? Nope. But until I see this man on some equipment, I’m not gonna believe he can make beats. I don’t know how many times I have to articulate my reasons. If people disagree, fine

For the people who doubt Khaled makes beats - have y'all ever made a beat before? Making beats isn't that hard once you learn the equipment. Now whether or not the beats are any good is another question.

I started making beats in high school and I wasn't some kind of musical savant. And that was before a lot of these computer programs and YouTube tutorials (or YouTube period) were around.

And what's crazy about this thread is DJ Clue and Kid Capri have production credits too, but are far more known for their albums, tapes, and exclusives than for the songs they produced. Who questions that they made beats?

Puff doesn't make beats, but to say he does nothing is false. Bringing in a record to sample is a co-production credit. Turning down a snare is a production credit. Even adding a "bicycle bell" to a beat is a production credit. How they actually break that down in terms of production, co-production, or additional production is all on the parties involved and ultimately the record label.
