By the strictest definition of classic I agree that he only has one classic, which also happens to be one of the best albums of all-time. Doesn't mean that I don't enjoy most of his other music. The problem is that not many other artists can even lay claim to one classic by that same standard, and if they can, it's highly unlikely that they have a second, let alone two or three other classic albums. Long story short, I think you could make this same argument with respect to most artists. So I think that speaks more to how revered Illmatic is as an album than anything else.
