Nas catalog so fire you can legit ask two people to list of their top 20 Nas songs and not have any repeats.

Nas catalogue is so good, that even after releasing the lost tapes of classic throwaway songs, he still has released enough other throwaways to fill a few more albums that would be near classic status in their own right.

I think Vlad saw how on the Wikipedia for Thriller the track listing is seperated by vinyl sides and he assumed it was a double album LMAO

:mindblown: Vlad this is one of the most ridiculous arguments I have ever heard and im actually not a Vlad hater.

I don't mind Vlad either but the Em dikkriding and this last interview are out of control. He's gotta be trolling for views

I've seen some of the most hardcore Nas fans make a respectable argument for IWW > Illmatic

At the absolute minimum you've gotta give Illmatic, IWW, Stillmatic and Lost Tapes as classics

What a mistitle he said Illmatic is his only CLASSIC. Which he has a point. Nas had a lot of great albums and good albums but none of them come close to comparing to the straight CLASSIC that Illmatic is. Classic is getting thrown around way to much and there's only a HANDFUL of straight classics in hip hop. :ahh: Illmatic being one of them.

By the strictest definition of classic I agree that he only has one classic, which also happens to be one of the best albums of all-time. Doesn't mean that I don't enjoy most of his other music. The problem is that not many other artists can even lay claim to one classic by that same standard, and if they can, it's highly unlikely that they have a second, let alone two or three other classic albums. Long story short, I think you could make this same argument with respect to most artists. So I think that speaks more to how revered Illmatic is as an album than anything else. :yeshrug:
