X was the East Coast's answer to Pac, he is a top 10 artist of all time. It's Dark and Hell Is Hot alone puts him in that category.
You don't have to be a complex, super lyrical genius to be a great rapper. X spit shyt you could FEEL and relate to on a personal level, there's no replacement for that.

If he's not in my top 10, he's hovering at 11 or 12...When X was great, he was the BEST. Its Dark and Hell Is Hot is a masterpiece. If you got a masterpiece album, then you deserving of the status
