Damn I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed. During the whole election he was doing passive hating on Bernie using that same tactic.

It's sad I still don't think blacks are aware of this fucckery that is continuing to happen. Only people that follow politics on a regular basis are even paying attention to the DNC battle.

The other side of it is if the Clinton wing gets their way into 2020, I can see them losing again. Who is going to be excited for a Hillary 2.0 candidate?

This is the Dems problem. The Third Way philosophy made the party socially liberal GOP.

Trying to reach white GOP voters is why they lost. They abandoned the base of the party.

Ellison basically has said the strategy has failed and the party has to go back to the grassroots

The Clinton/Obama people want to double down on identity politics and raising corporate money with no regards
When did he make these comments so I could research it?
cause in that Meet the Press interview, he was asked directly to comment about the strategy implemented, he said "no, I will not comment on that, instead I will focus on Trump", then he proceeded to recite talking points against Trump

In the south white gop voters used to be majority Dem voters.
There is something to say as to why Dems abandoned white southerners, and their working party gop base.

That said I would disagree with you on DNC being a socially liberal gop, thaat change happened in the early 1900s when GOPer FDR took over the party and warped it to a GOP lite. That was effectively the end of a legit two party system. IMHO.

I have a pretty good book that details it if you want. PM me if you want a lank

He's been saying it since the election

“The way Democrats campaign is, you look at all the red states and get rid of them. Look at the blue states, ignore them,” and then typically solely focus on likely voters in swing states, Ellison said. “When you ignore people they have a tendency to do what? Ignore you right back.”

Every politician references "listening to every concern of the american people"
I recalled reading this article when Bernie started publicly cosigning him, it doesn't show him criticizing either the DNC chair or their presidential candidate for specific wrongdoings

Simple obvious critiques like the former DNC chair soliciting DNC donors to her campaign and undermining Bernie
OR
criticizing Hillary for not being flexible enough to adjust her message and campaign tactics, instead relying on Trump's high unfavorables to win

You compromising, centrist piece of shyt. :wow:

If Democrats would follow Bernie's platform in a united fashion, they'd sweep through this country and clean up in elections. Instead, people like you give them an excuse to continue half assing it. :hhh:
you mean like tim canova. :mjlol:

he couldn't even beat DWS when she was persona non grata after the leaks.

face it, centrists dems are needed to some extent. i don't care how effectively grassroots you are, bernie simply won't sell in many parts of this country.

its not only about Bernie

centrist dems sold out the base of the party long ago

Probably would be better to blow the shid up and destroy the DNC once and for all, start a brand new left wing party from scratch

We did...but the game is the game. Sometimes you need to go through tough times to be better. Dems need a serious, strong message to beat king marmalade.

This is a close tie with Brexti for self imposed L of the century.

This congress, supreme court nom(s), and Trump's appointments may bring the country to a point where things wont be fixed.
